We All Need a Home

Why another site about web development? Why another site to throw into your RSS? Why a paragraph that keeps asking questions? Because this is a new project, and with all new projects we must ask why. So here’s my answer. Because we all need a home, especially web developers.

I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time… to have that one place where I can come back, and reflect on what I’ve discovered while coding, designing, sketching, solving, and most importantly failing. This is my home, where I can write this insanity down in hopes that it will bring clarity to my work and make me better.

Another motivator is Jeffrey Zeldman on the episode of The Big Web Show: Raising Rates┬áin which he says, “When you share your knowledge there are always people who learn from it.” I’ve learned so much from those who’ve shared their discoveries that it’s time for me to stop being so isolated and share what I know.
